AMERICAN ARCHERY STATE MODEL BOWS
« on: April 06, 2014, 11:38:00 AM »
Does anyone know for sure if American Archery made a bow model for every state and if not then which states were represented of if easier which states are omitted. I only have seen about 8 states represented so far. Jim

The first 8 did great, with names like the Californian, the New Yorker, the Pennsylvannian, the Texan, and the Kentuckian.

I suspect the "All American" model was supposed to take care of "all the rest," kinda like The Professor and Mary Ann losing recognition in the original theme to Gilligan's Island.

I would die happy, though, if I ever found one called the Maineiac!

The bows mentioned were made by United States Archery Company, or USAC. not American Archery. I believe Tony has the models correct from the 60's.
