Bear quiver ?
« on: April 29, 2014, 04:24:00 PM »
What model quiver would have gone on a 70ish bear Kodiak and would have attached in the insert?

The lazy do not roast any game,
but the diligent feed on the riches of the hunt.

Most Bear Bows had the 'stabilizer bushing' as standard on the bow in 1971 and after. This is where the optional quiver mount bracket could be attached and a Bear Converta Quiver with the upper spring arm and lower bracket attachment could be mounted.  Some bows prior to 1971 were ordered with the stabilizer bushing installed.  For those that didn't have the bushing, the Bear bow quivers with the spring arm on top and bottom would be the most popular option.  Bear also produced the tape on quiver until about 1976, so that would also be a 'period correct' option.

If it's pre '71 you'll need a double spring arm. If it has a stabilizer bushing you can use either the single spring arm w/the adapter, or the double.
