Cody, It was great to see you again!!  We only got the 2.  The one Kevin shot and the one the dogs got!!  Drew connected pretty solid with one but it got in a hole before they could get another shot on it!!

Swamp there were 3 total...but I think the guys stomping brush may have moved more rabbits than the dogs.

I'm sure the drivers on our hunt moved more bunnies than the dogs,it's totally different dog hunting vs driving. It's actually more work keepin the dog with the drivers but some folks like to listen to the music so I always bring Sonny besides the dog and my wife would kill me if I ever left him home LOL

LOL Joe just think if ya could actually reach the rabbit down there and he's backed up to the wall with his life on the line hahahahahahaha I'd reach down too just beware of the killer bunnies
Shoot straight and have FUN!!

Thanks to all of you for posting great stories, pics and video.  I'm sure sorry that I missed this event - I'll definitely be there next year.

Drew,  I wasn't looking for recognition when I donated samples of my string wax to the event.  I must say though - that's a pretty cool label that you created.  I might just have to buy the design from you and then hire you to handle advertising and marketing for me in your spare time.
Thanks
Ron

Joe, did you see jeff's grandson Jacob? He went head first in the first hole...I thought I was going to have to hold his boots!

Swampbuck, nothing like hearing the hounds sing...well except the yell of "RABBIT!!" or the cheers and laughs when someone got a shot.

Ron, you made a donation so you deserve the recognition! I hope we thanked everyone who donated things to the raffle.

That's just Jacob, he has been hunting since he was 3 or 4. His Dad is hard core hunter and JT (Jacob) learned well. Even though he hunts with a recurve with grandpa, he loves his little .22 single shot.  At 9 years old he has taken more small game then I did by the time I was 18.  He sure had a great time at the bunny stomp. The neatest thing of all, is at bunny camp he wasn't 9 years old anymore. All the guys treated him and all the young hunters just like one of the gang.  The young hunters appreciate that more than we will ever know!  Thanks again guys for showing the true colors of a Michigan Sportsman!

Jeff, I always get a kick out of seeing your grandkids and how much they love and cherish this sport.  I was shooting tradtional bows at their age as well I just wish I had the same passion for it as they do when I was that age!!  Your doing good teaching them keep up the good work!!  I look forward to shooting and hunting with them for years to come!!
