Dan, this is good I was actually doing the same thing. I have the B-day in 2 weeks, Bear hunt in June, caribou in Sept. 2009 is shaping up real good also for an elk hunt in Idaho.
Can't say I have a new bow on order though.

October-3 weeks in British Columbia moose hunting with a grizzly bear option for trophy fee and a wolf tag as a target of opportunity.

Will draw a buck tag in Iowa for '08 so I have 2 weeks reserved for whitetails, will have the IA tag (first priority) and an OH tag as well as here in IN.  Will hunt deer everyday I'm home in the evenings from Oct 1 to end of season in Jan.

But the season aint over for this year, yet!

Good luck

Ryan

I'm glad that I'm not he only one to put in for vacation time 10 months in advance! I was duck hunting the other day with a buddy and asked
"So, what week are you looking at for next year?"
"What?" he says.
"Bowhunting! What week ar you taking off?"

He looked at me like I was crazy. I took that to mean that he was planning on the third week of September, as usual.
Is it September yet?!

Been trying to work in some coyote calling and shooting on the eastside. Chukar hunting hasn't been much good this year. Hoping for at least one draw on out of state elk. If I don't draw I  I will take up an offer to hunt Idaho elk OTC. Then it's elk and deer at home and then the late blacktail hunt. With some rafting and flyfishing mixed in.  Man, what will it be like when I retire? I'll probably wear myself out!

Well, with a new baby on the way I'll be lucky to have much in the way of hunting 2008. Winter bow is around the corner so I hope to be getting some time out for that. The rest of the year I'll be lucky to get what ever I can.

Feb- Annual Michigan bunny hunt with a bunch of friends.
April - Indiana Turkeys
May - Wisconsin Turkey
June - Quebec Bear
Sept - Mulie deer in Montana I think.  Still working on that one.  Or Elk in Idaho.
Oct. Nov. Dec. Jan. - Indiana whitetail.
Nov. - Northern Michigan whitetail.  Just got an invite today.

Then whatever else pops up. dino
