The "White Glass 1957 Kodiak" is a term I coined many years ago to make it easy to identify this style of bow that was made in three lengths, 56", 60" 64", as shown below.
The term "White Glass 1957 Kodiak" is self explanatory and eliminates all the BS "sow belly", "indented belly" and associated confusion.
There are three variations in the form used to make the 1958 Kodiak sow belly and actually the most common variation of the "sow belly" is not even shown in 1958 Bear catalog... go figure...
There are many inconsistencies in the Bear Catalogs and many transition bows such as the White Glass 1957 Kodiak.
Compare what you see in the 1957 and 1958 Bear Catalogs to actual 1957 and 1958 Bear bows and you will find an incredible number of variations...
