Rod, I believe they were standard in '71, but could be had as an option prior to that year.

I have seen 1950's bear bows with inserts in the riser for quiver brackets but not stabilizer inserts until 71 or 72.

I may be mistaken, but I thought these inserts where mostly used for bow fishing.

They were also used with the Bear bracket to mount the lower end of the quiver to the bow.

My understanding is in 1971 it was standard and in 1970 it was an option.

I checked the old catalogs and the Tamerlane came with the stabilizer insert in 1967. In 1968 Both the HC30 Tamerlane and Temijun came with the inserts. I do not see inserts on the bows prior to 1967. So I am guessing 1967 was the first year.

Steve -

Quiver Bracket Insert Bushings date to the 1940s when Fred Introduced his first Bow Quiver... As a matter of fact, it was the only way the original scabbard quiver was designed to be mounted on a bow. I'm sure you already know this, but some younger guys may not be aware of these facts.

I have many 1940s Grumley bows with Quiver Bracket Insert Bushings, some factory installed, others installed after market.

I have installed many of these Quiver Bracket Insert Bushings on 1959 and 1960 Kodiaks that I've hunted with over the years.
