A Hand Book on Archery California By Products CO
« on: April 29, 2015, 09:34:00 AM »
Just received this very old and very nice book from 1926. I would like to share some of the cool things on it's pages. The book is " A Hand Book on Archery" by California By-Products co. Pictures of Dr. Saxton Pope and Art Young, and Will Compton.

That's one cool handbook and has become quite scarce now.  The first edition was published in 1925, and a second edition in 1926.

The pics are neat!

I Like that poem, "The Archer"....

"Life is a charm, and all is good To him that lives like Robin Hood"

Pretty Cool indeed!

Shane,

The California By-Products,(CBP), Handbook is the most common paper item of that company.

In my experience, the CBP catalogs are much harder to find.

The CBP broadheads are very desirable additions to an archery memorabilia collection, some varieties are much rarer than others.

Many CBP bows have found their way into collections.

All 1920's CBP items are collectibles.
