Good read.  Hard to do on an Ipad though.  Every time I read a story like this it makes me wonder how these guys made a living.  I certainly never had a job (or a wife) that would allow me to hunt for two, three, or four weeks at a time.

Brad ...According to Mrs. Howard, Jack began making bows in 1947,the year they were married.  Once started, that "IS" what he did for a living.  

Like Fred Bear and Ben Pearson, his hunting exploits were an advertisement for his bows.

 Mrs. Howard told me that she accompanied him on many his hunts into the field.  Many of us would like to have a wife like that. LOL

The most important part of your hunting setup is the broadhead.  The rest is just the delivery system.
