1958 kodiak brings home a bird
« on: May 16, 2016, 11:57:00 PM »
thought I would post this gobbler..taken at 6 yards with a 1958 kodiak..56"length bow LH 50# at 26".
Friend from S.D. worked his butt off to get a few of us into turkeys...alot of fun..he was a big un...my hunting partner also got a bird with a selfbow he made as well as Jim our S.D. friend who took one with a selfbow he made.

Very cool to see! You just inspired me to put the camo sleeves back on. I think the K Mag may have to share the rest of my turkey season.   :clapper:

Nice turkey Brad...will you be able to hunt turkeys in BC...I know I have seen them on the golf course near Invermere but I have no idea whether they are hunted in British Columbia...and I cannot think of a better place to post pictures of game...I think most of us are bowhunters first, collectors second

I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42

I've adopted too many bows that needed a good home.

Well, I didn't get it done on a turkey this spring. But the hot blonde is going moose hunting this October, as either the backup to the Talon Classic or as leadoff hitter. She sure catches a guy's eye with the way she throws an arrow smack where he wants it to go ...  :archer2:
