Stotler "Old Reliable" Longbow
« on: June 03, 2016, 11:58:00 AM »
Hi, A week after I found that Bear Grizzly, I found a Stotler 61" 49# "Old reliable" longbow in pretty decent shape for a 100.00. On inside limb it says in cursive Stotler, "Old Reliable" then 61" 49X28. Is this a older original by the brothers or a newer one from he 90"s. Thin leather handle, looks like walnut on back side of limb tip. Any info would be appreciated, Thanks, Al

I'd check the Stotler website. The owner has his email address on the home page.

Yes I found out about the Stotler Bow. The CEO of Rose City Archery in Oregon emailed me and said he himself had built that bow in the mid 90's. I sent Rose City some pics and he must have recognized his writings on limb. But thanks for replying.
