Little Bear

I have a 1964 Little Bear I am giving to my grandson for Christmas, and am wondering what the brace height should be? I thought maybe between 7 and 8" like most of his bows, but would like to know for sure.
Thanks

In an old Archers Bible it says 6 1/4 to 7 1/2 brace height for a 48 inch bow real similar to the little bear.

Thanks also Steve, I'm setting up a little bear for my grand daughter.
I would have started at 8".
