Help for the Kids shoot at Compton.
« on: June 05, 2012, 09:54:00 PM »
Been kicking around the idea of having an archer dressed in period attire to talk to the kids about the bow and arrow during their snack time. Sat afternoon at the kids shoot. The parts of the bow and arrow.  Some history and perhaps some stories about said equipment. Must have references. You can give me a shout here, PM or [email protected].
Thanks

Just a note of thanks to all of those who helped out w/ the kids shoot.  If even one of the staff was missing there would be a hole to fill.  Everyone does their jobs well and we continue to learn as we go.  We are getting better....

We needed another group leader as one of them did not show(lost track of the time), so I grabbed a mom and explained what we needed and why.  She jumped in and lead her group like it was a field trip to the zoo.  AWESOME!! So thankful for her willingness to help.

From the shoot station directors to the balloon blowers, everyone is needed and appreciated.  Thank you so much for all the help.

Remember feed back is welcome and new ideas are
always appreciated.  Can't wait til next year.

Thanks again.
