A Good Man Has Passed
« on: June 20, 2006, 08:57:00 PM »
My Sunday School Teacher and Church Mentor passed away this afternoon. Thank you to all who provided prayers and thoughtful words. I am comforted by the knowledge that his suffering was not prolonged, and that he is now with Our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you again.

Prayers for the family sent from Georgia.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!

Nothing so sad as losing one who'd been a mentor.

Nothing as joyous as knowing he's with our Lord!

prayers for all to have peace.
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!

Thanks again, we will attend his memorial service this Saturday. He was a credit to the human race, and a 20 year Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Blessings to all.
