Prayers for Southpawshooter and family
« on: June 28, 2006, 11:05:00 PM »
I would like to send my best wishes and prayers to Southpawshooter-- Scott Frost and his family---they evacuated their house earlier this evening due to the massive flooding along the Delaware river basin----This is the largest flood in over 100 years-----

Thanks for letting us know Mark! I was wondering how close he was to the flooding! Now we know.....

Here's praying and hoping that all works out ok for Scott and his family!

Also thinking and praying for everyone else from those areas affected by the flooding, it sounds horrible.....

Special prayers for Scott and his whole lovely family to return home safe and find minimum  damage and just some minor inconveniences.  Also prayers for the thousands of others who have had losses or been displaced through this unfortunate period of heavy rains and flooding.

If you talk to Scott, you tell him ole Doc Nock says to put them purty li'l gal chillins to work muckin out the basement.   :)   They love me as it is!

Shazam! I just sent Scott an arrow to try out....

Prayers for his family's safety as well as no damage to his property....and as Doc said, for all the others effected by this natural disaster. Sure wish some of that rain would make it's way down here....my fields are scorched.

Mark, let us know when he returns.

Friend of mine works in insurance. Boy have I learned a lot. Apparently, no insurance covers "water damage" anymore except "flood insurance".

And then, to make me even more nuts, she adds that even much of the flood insurance won't pay unless all sorts of criteria about the "flood" are met! Gads!

Prayers that Scott and crew can be remunerated for their damanged items.  Tell him to make them towhead gals get down there in their guchi shoes and muck out the basement and Doc said so!

I should get about a dozen hate emails now!   :bigsmyl:

Now to know the rest of our folks around are ok.  I hope the crew from VA and NC got off ok to ATAR...they'd been scheming and dreamin a long time on that one!

JC, you pay the frieght and I'll be glad to ship some large quantities of water outa our trout streams to ya..won't need fertilizer either...got nearly 2:1 topsoil per h20!

I might just go stand stream side to see if Scott comes bobbin along...be good to see his grining face again!

JC, I might just do that next week... they'll be sassy early next week after the waters clear and recede.

Thanks all for your concern.  It means alot to my family and myself at this time.  The damage is depressing but we are very thankful that noone in our family was harmed.  Disasters like this sure make a person look at life differently.

Father God, we sincerely ask you to intercede financially into Southpaw's circumstances in a wonderful way so that this flooding was just a way to create even better circumstances than before.  We ask that even the memory of the depression be wiped away with such joy, that the only feelings left would be a gratitude, praise and worship as to how great a God You are, Amen.

In His Love and Service,
peace
