Death of a young bowhunter
« on: July 20, 2006, 10:35:00 AM »
I just learned that one of our young bowhunters and a very nice young man was killed this week in a motorcycle accident. Many of you probably know 19 year old Tyler Roberts, of Kentucky and Montanna, or his father Scott. Scott won both classes at Cloverdale this year. Tyler, who I regarged as one of the nicest young men I have ever met will be buried today. Please pray for him and his family.
John

I am very very sorry! My sincere condolences to you and the family. Prayers sent.
Someday you and I will take the Great Hart by our own skill alone, and with an arrow. And then the Little Gods of the Woods will chuckle and rub their hands and say, "Look, Brothers. An Archer! The Old Times are not altogether gone!"

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!

I can not even imagine what the family and friends are going through right now. They will be in my prayers.

A big Texas prayer has been lifted up for Tyler's family and friends. May God bless you during this time of pain and sorrow.
