Tim Baker in hospital

Tim has done much to help fuel the interest in tradional archery in general and wood bows specifically.  Thought people may be interested.  Seems he was taken to hospital by paramedics and is recovering in ICU unclear as to what the problem is/was.  He injuried his hip area recently so may be related.  keith

I went ahead and copied this from another site, for those that know Tim and might want more info. My prayers go out for his speedy recovery.

"This is Tim Baker's landlord Don Wang. Tim was taken by paramedics to Los Angeles County General Hospital on State St. I was unable to talk to him in emergency after waiting for 2 hours because it is the county hospital. I understand from patients info that he is in surgical intensive care on the 9th floor. I will be attempting to visit him at 8:30AM today. Feel free to contact me. I'm on his computer but it would be easier to use my cell or my email."

At last report Tim has had multiple surgeries an still is in ICU. He's is on hi dose antibiotics to bring an infection in his hip area under control.

For those who don't know Tim Baker, He's one of the Authors of The Traditional Bowyer Bibles I, II,and III.

A quick update.  It seems that Tim has quite a fight on his hands.  He has a "flesh eating bacterial infection" in his hip area.  Several surgeries have taken place and aggressive antibotics are being used.  Tim is under sedation for comfort and to allow the body to focus all of its energy on trying to fight this nasty infection.  Keep Tim in your thoughts.  keith

Father God, we beseech your mercy for Brother Tim, your cleansing power we pray into the area of his body that is infected, we rebuke this invasion of the devourer and cast out the fruits of evil, and implant the healing life of Christ into his eternal well being.  We thank you again for your miraculous intervention into Brother Tim's life, and count this healing done in your mighty Name Jesus, amen.

Update.

It appears the worse is over and Tim will be allright.  He's already taking visitors and is in good spirits.  He's quite tough, don't try to armwrestle him.
