G'day Fellow Archers!
I'm heading down to the desert, for what I hope will be some successful feral camel and goat hunting with my longbows.
With me will be a compound-shooting friend, and we'll be meeting up with my brother, who shoots a recurve.
Of course, I am excited about this...but I am also afraid of the heat and the miles (about 5000 of them).
No matter how many of these trips, or similar, I do, I always struggle with this apprehension. To help, I read and re-read my favourite scripture verses from Psalms and Isaiah.
Anyway, if you could please pray for our safety as we travel and hunt through the oven-like desert, I would greatly appreciate it. My wife would appreciate it, too. She'll be spending time with her family back on her childhood farm.
Thank you, Ben
PS - I look forward to sharing the tales and photos of this trip with you all in the Pow-Wow forum!
