Meet my daughter!
« on: March 09, 2007, 12:10:00 AM »
While at times, I know sometimes it feels as tho life just doesn't seem fair. I too have had to deal with adversities. On the other hand...

I would like to introduce my daughter Sabrina Lee Long, born 2/27/07 at 7:58PM in Baltimore! I'm 43 years young and have never had anything, nowhere even close, effect me the way my daughter did when she was born! I quit smoking the following day and has me refocused on what life is really about and why we are here.

She was rough on her mother while in the womb. Shut down my wife's digestive track and put her in the hospital for 3 months on feeding bags and IV's. Kim's failing health had me stressed beyond anything I have ever had to deal with. As guys, we fix things. When someone you love gets sick and you can't get anyone in the hospital to give you a straight anwser (I understand illness is a gray area and no one can commit to an verdict because things can change), it was frustrating and angering. Kim and the baby are doing fine now. Kim is starting to eat again, slowly all be it, and is down 40 lbs since giving birth. I can see a couple double bacon cheeseburgers in her future.

Thought I would share this great news with you!

Isn't it wonderful what a baby can do to one's outlook on life? You and your wife are a lucky couple to have such a beautiful baby. May she have a long and healthy life. God bless you and your family.

Jerry, what a beautiful little lady. Now you have a matched pair.  :)  I'm glad that they are both doing well.

Daddy's little girl....She is beautiful. Treasure her and get ready to pamper your wife when she gets home!
I am so sorry to hear what a hard time you have all three had. God willing, it's better days ahead for you and your family. Just think about what it will be like to put that first little bow in her hands!
We have a few little ones around if you need one when the time comes. Just let us know. Ours were 2 1/2 and 6 years old when we started shooting. What great family fun!
Congrats on your little miricle.
Tell your wife to rest more than she thinks she needs.....take it from some one who didn't rest enough and paid the price!  "[dntthnk]"
God bless you three.
Kim
