My Mom has cancer
« on: August 16, 2007, 11:22:00 PM »
Mom will start experimental treatments for advanced lung cancer in 2 weeks.
I ask that you pray, not just for my mother, but all those good people afflicted by such terrible diseases.
May God keep them looking upon the light of His face, that they may all find salvation in the name of His Son, our Redeemer, Jesus

Randy, Your mom and all those who are afflicted by any of these diseases, we pray for and that they may be comforted and healed according to His purpose. We don't know why some suffer such things but know that the Lord is faithful to us in our lives no matter what we are dealing with.

We are here for you...

Randy,

Just went through this with my own mom  and know the power of prayer. I will be praying for your mom and for you. Asking god to give you and your mom strength that can only come from our God, King of King's and Lord of Lord's.

Lost my mom 2+ years ago to the same thing. She'd been suffering for years and they blamed it on arthritis...but it was some intestinal cancer...matastisized in her bones.

Mom was a spiritual woman, but those last 2 weeks of life were the most profound of my life. She went from worry, pain, anxiety about everything in life to a woman covered up in peace, love, joy, hope and such a glow to know she'd finally be going home to her precious Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ and be made perfect in every way in His presence.

We were all blessed to have seen such transformation in her... saying good bye was so much easier.

That was an elderly woman tired of fighting.

May your Mom find, as many have, that the Lord will Grace her with His healing and power...that she might be a testament to His glory and power in her remaining days, healed clean of this miserable cancer, and that each of you will cherish the time with her and be uplifted and walk in Peace and joy.

Keep the Son in your eyes!
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!
