Folks, I hate to bump this back up, but I kind of need to ask for your help again.

Back in early September we didn't expect her to make it more than a few days. We had around the clock hospice and she was fading more and more each day. Then things stabilized and she started to improve a little. Basically her body once again just didn't know when to quit.

A couple weeks ago she started sliping again, and Lord willing, her many years of suffering will come to an end soon. If anyone's ever watched a relative slowly die from cancer, you know what she's going through, so I won't try to explain the details. But if you could keep her in your thoughts and prayer again, I'd sure appreciate it.

I doubt many of us have been untouched somewhere in our life with family or friends and know this instrument of evil called cancer...

We are finite in our wisdom and He is infinite. We can't begin to understand the comings and goings that surround us. May the Holy Spirit continue to wrap loving arms around  your grandma and each of you as you continue in your vigil with her until God's time to take her home.

Even though it is coming up on 3 years in March, I surely recall how Mom struggled and others before her through end times. May God grant continued peace, mercy, grace and strength to her and to you all!
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!

Thanks again everyone for your thoughts and prayers. My grandparents were finally reunited  a little before 10 o'clock Saturday morning.
