Ken,

That li'l gal got some spunk and she's had a good role model in you here of late...

Thank you, Lord, for all that you've done for Jamie and for healing her body from this dreaded cancer. We ask your continued blessing on her, that she might glorify your Holy Name for all that you've done and all that you will continue to do in keeping this dreaded disease out of her body.  Be with Ken, his wife, Jamie's Mom and with Jamie's son as they bond and grow in Grace and Faith in you through this trial. Amen.

Jamie starts her 6 rounds of chemo next Friday 2/1. Each treatment is 4 hours. We are taking turns taking her. When that is finished she'll start the radiation. Doctor promised her she'd be on the beach by mid July. She got her hair cut very short in preparation.
The thanks to you all again.

Glory to god and to the Doctors and Nurses who looked after her.

Give Jamie hugs from us all! This gonna be a tough go with all the treatments, I'm guessin...but from your stories, she gut muster enough to handle it in style.

Prayers for strength, total healing, clean health and cancer free for ever!  This 'll be something she tells her grandbabies all about!  :)

Lord, in your mercy...

Lord lead the doctors, nurses and technicians through this ongoing treatment.  Cradle Jamie and her family and friends in your hands, strengthen and protect them.  Heal her body, comfort her soul and help her find peace in your constant presence.

Dear Jamie,
There is a verse in the Bible(I'm not exactly sure where it is, and these may not be the exact words, but they are close)that say's "As a man thinketh so he is."It sounds as though you have your mind where it needs to be to get yourself well again. God is right there with you and he will get you thru all of this. You stay focused and stay strong. The warm sand is going to feel so good on your feet.      PRAYIN HARD IN PA

Jamie had her first chemo treatment 2 weeks ago. It wen't well and she has had no problems from it so far. Her second treatment is this Friday. The doctors told her he can expect to start loosing her hair after this one. Still she maintains an amazing attitude. Your prayers have lifted her up on many days when she is down.

Prayers sent 2dogs.  May Jamie experience God's comfort, reassurance and healing.  May you be comforted by the Holy Spirit too 2dogs.  I can't imagine what you are going through right now.

Jamie,

Girl, when Ken says you're amazing, then I take stock in it! He's spoken of you with highest regard forever..not just now!  :)

You keep the Son in your eyes, and never let yourself get down. Hair grows back and those of us so affected among the male fraternity never get to say that!  :)

Hang tough, Sweet Lady. You're going to come through this magnificantly, and we're holding you to lifting up praises to Him for all that He will do and has done for your healing through His Grace.

Dang, Kenny, you kept that girl well hidden..she's darned purdy even without hair... and by contrast, hair wouldn't help make you any purdier at all!  :)

jamie, we've never met girl, but I know you're good people over the many years Ken has shared about his special gal, Jamie. Keep the faith. With a smile like that...hair ain't added nothing to your God given beauty!

Jesus loves ya gal, and so do we! Keep the Son in your eyes kiddo! We're praying and pullin for ya!

Just a quick update. Jamie has one more chemo treatment to go. Each one gets a litte harder for her. Then 5 weeks of radiation 5x/week. Then a one drug chemo every 3 weeks for one year. She still has an amazing attitude and just pushes forward. Thank you for your continued prayers.
