Do not let her talk to her father by herself.  If you cannot be there someone from the city or county should be.  If he truly is violent natured toward his daughter, do not trust him.

Heydeerman,
I have been thinking about you and the situation and lifting it up to the Lord. It is a fact that all of us face trials of every sort in this life. They come in various forms and seem to hit us when we least expect it. They all are the "Goliath's" of our lives. But it is also clear that "our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the worlds forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." So I encourage you as Paul did to take up the full armour of God to see you and your family through this time. It is amazing to read how God sometimes told His people to "be still" and watch Him work and at other times He commanded them to stand up as warriors and fight the good fight. So my prayer for you is not only strength but discernment as well. To be still and to stand at His call.... John

Amen to John insightful advice. Continued prayers for protection and the patience to stand ready but to wait on His call... amen.
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!

Thank you friends. Things are quiet right now. I think the big threat might be over but not sure. I had a monitored security system installed so the girls feel safer in the house if I am not home.
