Please pray for a church family
« on: December 31, 2007, 07:30:00 PM »
We lost a very beautiful and talented 15 year old girl from our church family.  She read a passage at the 0800 pm Christmas Eve service and was awesome.  Enjoyed her Christmas with family and friends.  She went to bed the night of 28 Dec and when her parents went to wake her up the next morning they found that she had passed away in her sleep.  No health problems  experienced in the past.  Apparently she had an anurensim in the lungs.  Obviously the parents are suffering very much as well as our church family.  If you all could find it in your hearts for a prayer that would be great.

Wow...that is really a tough one and such a unexpected tragedy.

I'm very heavy of heart to read of such a thing.

Lord, Be with these people at this very, very difficult time. Only You know the purpose behind such difficult and unexplainable things. Bring this family peace and help them turn to you for comfort.  Help them to Trust you more now than ever, living in Faith where there is no sense to be made of the situation.
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!

Oh Father please comfort the parents and remind them that their girl is with you. Help the comprehend the love she is living in now.
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

"Weep when they are borne, rejoice when they die" easy to say, hard to do.  The girl was right with her maker and now she is in our holy fathers hands. It is hard to confort her parents. Nothing we can do or say will give them solace. I am sure the lord will give them peace of mind eventually. God bless them.

Pronhorn.  I am a father of a 15 year old myself and I knew the girl.  I am sick to my stomach.  We laid her at rest today.  I am absolutly sick about it.

I want to thank all of you for posting your concerns and prayers for Dayna's family and our church family.  I printed off all the replys and my father who is an elder in our church took them in and gave them to her father.  He was so touched that people from around the world who did not even know his daughter took the time out and sent in thier prayers.  He told my dad to tell me that I must really belong to a great group of people.  I told dad to tell him that he has NO idea how great the people here are.  God bless and loves you all.  Thanks.  Dave from Nova Scotia
