Prayers for wife and family
« on: January 30, 2008, 07:21:00 AM »
If you would all keep my wife and family in your prayers I would appreciate it.  We are expecting twins and my wife went into early labor.  They admitted her to the hospital and have been working at stopping her contractions.  Things look pretty good so far but it's hard to see her in so much pain with the contractions.  They are trying to get her to the 35 week mark to help with the babies development.  Please keep my wife and the babies in your thoughts.  Thanks you.

As a parent I can understand your concern.  Prayers from the Buck family in Nova Scotia.

Aaron,
I pray that you and your wife and the twins will be comforted by God's presence&love. I pray that God gives the doctors and nurses the experience they need to slow down your wife's contraction's and buy a little time for the twins.Stay strong Aaron God will get you thru.

Take heart. 15 year ago I went through this with a buddy and his wife having triplets...they got some major mojo in hospitals on keeping the contractions down to let them sprouts grow bigger! :)She had all 3 just 3-4 weeks shy of term!

Prayers for an easing of the discomfort and God's hand be on your wife, babies and the medical team

Keep the Son in your eyes!

Thanks all for the prayers and thoughts.  The doctors couldn't get the labor to stop and she was progressing fast, so they took the babies this morning.  I thank the Lord that I can say everybody is doing great!  The babies were born about 6 weeks early and are in the NICU but they are breathing fine and they look great.  No problems so far.  Mom is doing well also.  Pretty sore but she was looking much better this evening.  Don't know how long everybody will be in the hospital but things are looking great.

Again, thank you all.  I don't post a lot here and don't know many of you personally, but it means a lot to have so many praying for us.  God Bless you all.

Few times in a man`s life is he as helpless as he is when his wife is in labor. Heartwrenching.

I am so happy to hear that everyone is doing well.

Prayers for continued well being, and congrats.

I want to thank you all again for the prayers.  And let me say the Lord has watched over us.  The babies have done fantastic since they were born and they were taken out of the NICU this evening and put back in the nursery.  They've told us that if they keep eating well and all of their vitals stay up that they will probably be able to come home by the first part of next week.

Again, thank you for the prayers.  After they get home and I can figure out how to post pictures on here, I'll give you all a look at my little angels.

Also, I'll ask that you all keep all of the little guys that are in the NICU's everywhere in your prayers.  It was heart wrenching to see so many of the tiniest and sickest babies that I've ever seen.  I realize how lucky we are and how much more praying I should do for those families that are so much worse off than mine.

Aaron, truer words were never spoken about our fortune, even amidst the worst of times.

I worked doing management training at a Children's hospital in tidewater VA... and often visited the NICU...amazing... seeing those tiny premies hooked up to every gizmo in the world and makin them breathe so fast... but so many came through wonderfully...

Doesn't take long to build serious humility in that situation...

God Bless and continue to lift up your whole family... Guide you and keep you and your wife as this awesome task of raising children comes to bear.

Keep the Son in your eyes!
