It's me agian...
« on: March 11, 2008, 05:16:00 PM »
Hi Lord It's me agian... I know it's been awhile. Lord I look in here and see all the prayer requests and it hurts. Lord we know that you know best and your way is the best and only way. But Lord ya know sometimes it's hard to stay strong and keep the faith. Ya know Lord I know there will be a day when all or worries will end and we will all be made perfect. But for now Lord I wanna ask ya to please comfort all those who are having trouble in this world . Lord I ask that you please touch there hearts and make them know that all will be ok and that you are in control. This world makes it very hard Lord. I know you know that cuz you were here and seen first hand what it is like to be a human and live in this world. Yep Lord it's me agian and yep I'm asking all this in your Holy Name. Thank you Christ Jesus my Saviour and Friend. Your humble servant Frank<><

Adding my season of prayer to all of the ones here.

Lord, your word says that you will turn all things for good.  I ask that you turn all the situations that are shared here for your glory, and I thank you for your answer to my prayers, in Jesus name.

Frank, Thanks. I have a friend who's wife (Mary) lost her battle today after two years of suffering with Cancer. I have been praying for the last two weeks for my good friend Fred Kasch (95) who is in the hospital. He is one of the "Amigo's" from my Three Amigo's article in WTA. Fred had a bleed in his brain and they had to tap in to reduce the pressure and swelling. He is strong but this is a tough thing to come back from at 95.

Anyhow, you post touched me.
Your Pal,
Bill

Frank, thank you so much. I needed that. I have been through a lot with the divorce going on and sometimes it seems that God is not listening, but I know He is always there even if we do not see it at the time. Thank you Brother.

Don,

Even my friends in full time ministry admit there are times "in the desert" where they feel disconnected...but those are the times, as the poem about "footprints in the sand" remind us that is when there are only one set of footprints, because Christ is carrying us in his own arms.

I keep having to remind myself through the myriad of daily challenges, that God is always listening, but like any good parent, sometimes He has to wait on us to be quiet so we can listen...and sometimes, He has to say "no."

Keep the Son in your eyes!

Well Fred passed away Wednesday morning. The grief I feel is hard to bear. Even after 4 days, a simple thought of him can bring me to tears. Tough to be alone with my thoughts without missing Fred.

I try to focus on all the blessings of his friendship but mostly I just become overwelmed
