Just so you know.

I see prayer requests all of the time but do not always post in the thread. But I pray for everyone who requests it and anyone who is sick or afflicted anyway. I don't share this for Kudos but because I want anyone requesting to know that I do not pick and choose. There that is a load off my mind. God Bless!

George,

Glad you feel you can share your heart...Many folks come here quietly and pray for all and never post. It's a given.

There are guys here who openly pray so beautifully that it has inspired me to "try" to be less shy and speak my own heart.

But never feel that you have to explain yourself in this forum.  The power that lies here is amazing. I've seen people with cancer prayed over and completely blew their doctors away... we see many examples.  I come here regularly to "fill my tank" when I'm running empty.

I've learned from people here and from their witness to faith that indeed, God is always faithful, even when he says "no" to our requests.

So keep on keepin on in whatever fashion suits you best... it's the prayer power generated that counts...

Bless you for caring...

I am at times the same way.  Your post reminds me of the faithful the Lord had set aside that was not known of by Elija.  I guess I feel that way of myself as I am not a regular church attendee.  Pray many times a day though and have the faith.

Bowdude, thinking of what you say "...I am not a regular church attendee" correct me but didn't God say that where people gather in his name to pray is a Church.  I guess we have a small church here.  JMHO

Boy, TexMex, you could have talked all day and not said anything more powerful... where 3 or more...He is also.

I'd bet there are a lot more on here on and off all day than most churches...and more days too!  :)

that is a very uplifting thought...that coming here a couple times a day when I need a "spirit break" at work, is like "coming to church" with all the brothers and sisters, those who post and those who don't but we all come to pray for our fellow Christians in sickeness, health, happiness or sorrow.

Beautiful thought, Juan. Thanks for that imagery to carry through the day...

Juan, you have such a way with words.  I love visiting here and spending some time in prayer.

Target archery is seeing how far away you can get and still hit the bull's eye. Bowhunting is seeing how close you can get and never miss your mark.
