Tragic News about Golden Hawk
« on: May 23, 2008, 07:46:00 PM »
We have some very sad news to pass along to everyone. We received a call today from Kayla (Golden Hawk's daughter). Kayla is with her grandpa & family.

We have been asked to let everyone know that Golden Hawk has taken his own life today.  Please keep LeRoy, his daughter Kayla, and his family in your prayers.

This news has shocked us, and we are sad to pass it along.

I had only dealt/talked with Golden hawk a couple of times.  He seemed to be a very nice person and I am sure he will be missed.  My prayers have been said for him....

Prayers for LeRoy and his family brought before the Lord.  It is hard to imagine what pressure or pain would bring a man to this decision, we will aks for the Lord's mercy.

Tragic, shocking...no words to express my thoughts for what his family must be going through.  Leroy and I were to hook up again at Cloverdale this year.

You are already missed my friend.
