Pray for me (updated. laid off again)
« on: November 21, 2008, 07:30:00 AM »
I have been reluctant to ask for prayer cause there are more deserving of prayer than me. I have been having a tough time worring about my job lately because of the stock market and price of oil going down a lot of rigs have been shut down and a lot of good men have lost their jobs. I do not know how much longer mine will last. I just hope and pray the Lord continues to bless me. I do trust in Him as He is the one in control.

We are in the process of buying a new home and then this hit and worry over being able to afford the new house is really stressing me out. Please pray for me and my wife Kimber.

I am trying to stay strong and keep my faith in the Lord.

Donald

I Love you

Don,

I'd say your blessings just multiplied when your wife comes on here publicly to tell you she's behind you 100%!

I won't call you "Honey" but I echo her encouragement.   :)

Take time to listen on the house deal and know His true will.

Blessing and prayers for insight and continued strength to walk in faith.

Keep the Son in your eyes!

What a blessing to hear " you are the God fearing head of your home" from your wife...Praise the Lord! You are being the example God has called all us husbands to be to our wives and children....
Will lift your job situation up to the Lord, asking Him for leading, strength and peace in what he has in store for you and Kimber.

Thank you all so much for your prayers and I agree my wife is fantastic. She is a firm believer in God's Word and is a true woman of God. She takes good care of me and our home and is always there to encourage me and chastise me when need be to keep me on the right track. I thank God for her daily.

You all have lifted my spirits. God Bless and keep you all.

Thanks yall for all the prayers, we have truly appreciated them and are grateful for them.  We just ask that yall keep praying for us, this upcoming weekend.  Most of yall who know Donald know we just got married in May of 08 and this weekend we are having his daughters and grandkids here and we just pray that it will be a good, joyful non stressful time.  I am really anxious about this weekend and I needs Gods grace to help me through.I pray that they see that I love their daddy and that I want nothing from him except to love him.

Thanks,

Kimber

Kimber....lifting you up and asking God to give you peace about this. That they will see the blessing God has given Donald in bringing you into his life. You're postings show you have a heart for God and a love for your husband and I'm sure they will see that in person. Also continuing to lift up Donald's job situation. Have a great weekend and God Bless.

Thanks yall for the prayers,  they are so appreciated.  We had a great weekend,  we only had 2 of the girls and their families, but in reality it was nice to only have 2 of them that way I wasn't overwhelmed with a housefull of people.  They spent the day and when they left, we were tired, but so pleased.  There were a lot of forward tracks made, and I think they saw how much I love him, and how I do try to take care of him and our home.  Life is so good, and it is all because we have an amazing savior who loves us not for who we are, but for what we are...
