Prayers for my daughter
« on: July 13, 2009, 09:16:00 AM »
My turn. Got this from my daughter this am. She had finally moved 75 miles away from her husband. They get along like water and phosphorus. Won't be long before they are in a fight and call the police on each other. But they are SO codependent they think they love each other but haven't a clue. She gave him her phone number and e-mail address and can't figure out why he's there. BTW this has been going on for 14 years and her mother keeps bailing her out.
Praying for God's best in this and wisdom to know what or if I should do.

hey dad got your message yesterday just as i got out of the shower. thought id send ya a note instead.
went to church today found assemblies of god within a 5 minute walk. havent been to church for a while found it hard to open up.

having a hard time..bob showed up on my doorstep (please dont tell anyone yet want to have time to handle it).just frustrated. i really liked my life it was a fresh start with noone holding me down. now here he is eating my food and shadowing everywhere i go. im so devistated. i asked him to go to the homeless mission but wont unless police are involved...which means i loose my apt.   preacher said today i cant move the mountain but god can. i dont know what to do. he wont go back to omaha..hes got a job he starts tuesday and HUD housing is not gonna go for this...so i get kicked out..on the streets again...because i can't say no
Im worse off than when I started. makes me just want to give up 4months to make a life and 2 days to destroy AGAIN

beyond depressed

Will pray for her and your family.
I always hit where I'm aiming, but rarely where I'm looking.

That's tough, Benson.  Not helping young people take responsibility and accountability like her mom does, is a definite form of child abuse...and then it manifests itself in the adult child as well.  :(

All you can do is lean on her minister's words that God can move mountains. Right now it sounds like the MT Is tween her ears!

God will lead you as to the right thing to do.

Keep the Son in your eyes!

My sister whent through a similar situation. Will Pray that she is given the wisdom to do whats best.
Target archery is seeing how far away you can get and still hit the bull's eye. Bowhunting is seeing how close you can get and never miss your mark.

Prayers continue for your family from Georgia.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!
