Prayers for tornado victims
« on: August 20, 2009, 08:55:00 PM »
I would like to ask for prayers for the families in my town of 800 and also a town about 25 miles Notheast of me that were devastated by tornados yesterday afternoon. The tornado in my town only missed us by 300 to 400 yards. The familes need our prayers while they rebuild their lives. Luckily only minor injuries occured in both towns. We visited a family behind us with a  daughter who is in my daughters class and took them a few toys and clothes. Walking through what was left of their home was truly humbling of what nature can do at any given moment. Thanks for your time. Flint

Saw that on the news this morning.
Prayers sent for all involved. I was relieved to hear only minor injuries...looked terrible.

Prayers sent

Prayers on the way
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!

Prayers of healing, strength and insight for all affected as the hurricane and tornado season starts to gear up in earnest.
