Sorry to hear of your loss. It's been right at a year since we lost our little "Buddy" and it still hurts. They are a big part of what makes a good day.

This always strikes a big nerve with me, as I have been blessed with and lost three such family members. Gratefully living out my days with the fourth. Each teaches me something new about myself and exhibits ideals for me to strive for. They are teachers and they are children, they are all gifts of love from the Creator.

As I firmly believe in a loving God, I am sure that our intertwined spirits were brought together for a reason, that steps in His plan were carried out and lessons learned on both sides, and that reunion, in some way that I cannot comprehend at this stage, will occur in His good time.

I am sorry that yours is not with you now, and that you did not have the opportunity to be with Cy in his last hours. May your pain be eased by pleasant memories, and may another needy soul find shelter in your loving family.

And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

Made it home late last night. Sorry to hear of your loss of Cy. Losing a family pet sure is a tough one. All good things come to end at some point. Take comfort in knowing that the pain and suffering is over and the little guy has gone to a higher place where I'm sure he is barking at everyone that comes through the pearly gates. I had a great time hunting with you again bud. In a few days when all settles and we have adjusted to home time we'll tell a few stories and have some great pictures to share. Mel can tell you all about the big hawg that charged him and he had to beat it over the head with his widow!

Irish,
Sure hate to hear that. We have a Bichon, or should I say he has us. He just turned two, and has been a great dog. I wish you God's speed in grieving for him. Look forward to the hunt stories.

Take care,
Froggy
