Prayers for ole Bear 1336/Dave Luscher
« on: October 25, 2009, 08:45:00 PM »
That li'l ole stinker is always on here praying for others but didn't let us know he was strugglin with blood sugar /diabetes issues the past couple weeks!   :knothead:

Lord kinda tapped him on the shoulder and got his attention...again,... but y'know us older guys..we tend to forget time to time.

David, make that diet and eating habits your daily devotional and as structured as your prayer time for others.

Lord, keep an eye on this ole RR friend of our and keep him straight. Amen.

Keep the Son in your eyes, ole Hoss!

I guess in his imentable style, he's being silent here on this post. he's a very modest man.

I keep getting emails, so Dave hasn't headed back to Michigan. I know he was considering hunting some public ground closer to home till he was sure things were stable again.

Dave, brother, you are covered up by many in prayers for strength, patience and the will to stick to a strict diet to control that sugar!

Keep the Son in your eyes!

Dave,

Remember that passage in Ecclesiastes, I believe, about "for every season". Some pop group of our bygone days did it as a song...

While our bodies change in the aging process, our heart will grow in strength.

Thank God for good medicine. Now you also know what YOU need to do and it seems you've gotten His message, Dave... All things in moderation, brother.
