Prayers for Mom
« on: December 06, 2009, 03:50:00 PM »
Mom had surgery two days ago and surgery was cut short as they couldn't do what they had hoped.  Recovery has been slow as expected, but were not sure what lies ahead.   She doesn't want more surgery, but that may be what it takes.  I have to fly home in the morning, so it will be difficult for me to leave her.   As always, God is in control and your prayers are appreciated.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!

Prayers for God's comfort and healing.

Chris,

Always harder when one is distant from aging parents in their time of need.

Prayers for healing, peace, comfort and His Will to be done while He holds you all in His loving arms.

Keep the Son in your eyes.

Just a quick update, Mom came home yesterday and is recovering with only minor complications.  I sincerely appreciate all the prayers and thoughts from you all.

I just want to thank everyone for your prayers.  She started back to work this week and appears to be making a full recovery.  God has been, and is, very good.
