Motormouth's family
« on: February 28, 2010, 05:37:00 PM »
My buddy Matt has a sister who needs help with health issues. She is just out of the hospital, and the docs don't seem to know exactly what is wrong. This is stressing her parents and Motormouth, of course, and I am hoping that prayers might help the medical issues become resolved, and give the family strength to carry through this crisis.

I hate seeing my friend Matt so worried.
Killdeer
Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

Praying for God's best
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Dang, Killy. Thanks for sharing.

What you folks might not know is that this young lass, now 25 I think, is the most beautiful young woman, inside and out...and nearly legally deaf.

Her dad used to bring her to BBTC at B'more when she was a young'un. Never knew there was a problem, but the deafness has progressed until today she's legally deaf, I believe.

This has never daunted her spirit. She's earned advanced degrees and meets life head on. This latest challenge just breaks my heart.

Lord in your Mercy, hear our prayers for this wonderful creature of your creation. She has so much yet to do! Bring her to full wellness so she may Witness to your Glory and Grace.

Just got off the phone with Matt and his Dad about his sister, Bethany.

To hear Matt tell it, she's so much better, you could hear the relief in his voice. Dad, told it a bit different. Kids been athletic all her life and whatever has hold of her, she's still got high blood pressure and now showing bruising all over her body.

I hope they pull her outa Salt Lake and try the docs in Great Falls where she can be home with family. She's giving up a lot on a double Masters degree, student teaching and a Fullbright for the fall over seas, but this beautiful 25 year old child-of-God needs our continued prayers.

So does the family. I could hear that Dad's still got the weight of it on his shoulders.

Prayers up, Bethany. In God we Trust!
