Lost another friend...
« on: March 30, 2010, 10:02:00 PM »
I'd like to ask you all to remember the family of a close friend.  My buddy, Trip, passed away after losing a battle with cancer.  He was only 39 and found out he had cancer less than a year ago.

He was single, and no kids, but he was very close with his family.  They need prayers for comfort.

This is the sixth friend I've lost in the last 4 months.  All were young, in their mid to late 30s.  It's tough seeing the effects on young families.

Thanks for the prayers and thoughts.

Praying for comfort for you and the families involved
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Wow...

Prayers echoed for your friend's family, and the families of those others lost so recently and for you!

Loss so young echoes hard on the heart. Death is never an easy passing.  They all live on in your memory and heart. Embrace the memories!

Keep the Son in your eyes!
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!

Prayers sent for Trips family and you. Friends are hard to come by. I know that I can't afford to lose any as I don't have that many.
