By the grace of God
« on: April 22, 2010, 03:02:00 PM »
Yesterday my son Alex was involved in high speed rollover accident. He is in Hurley Medical Center Ped's ICU with fractures to the 2nd and 3rd Cervical Vertebrae. By the grace of God we did not lose our son yesterday, and there is no spinal cord injury or damage. Never take life for granted, it can change in an instant. Literally a couple of mm difference and I would have lost my huntin buddy. Please keep Alex in your prayers.

Autumnarcher, prayers of thanks and for fast healing sent.  I appreciate you're concerns--last week I watched as a helicopter delivered my daughter to a trauma center here after falling over a cliff about 20-25 feet on rocks.  Extent of injuries was not known at that moment and many things can go through your mind.  She is married and has four children at home.  She received a fractured skull and broken collar bone and a nasty gash on her scalp but after 2 days ICU and three more in the hospital she is home with her family recovering nicely.  I feel sure your son and huntin' buddy will be fine.  Youngsters heal fast.  God be praised

Prayers for your son and your family.
For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.

I'll certainly keep Alex in my prayers John - sounds like you both are very fortunate and I hope he will be fine and back camping and shooting with you before long.
