« on: May 09, 2010, 07:54:00 PM »
He would have been 88 on the 19th of this month. He was an Iwo Jima Marine.

This was taken in Sasebo Japan after the occupation.

Strikes close to home, Jim. Mine just turned 88 mid-March. he was in Europe mostly in WWII.

Prayers for peace and strength. A salute to your Dad and all who served and serve now!

Prayers for you and Yours and bless your Dad's heart. His place in heaven is secured - as we so often say, he already served his time in hades.

You have my heartfelt condolences for the loss of your father.  Our nation has lost another patriot warrior.  I thank you for his service, as well as your own.  God's peace to you and your family.
