Mooseman, know your hurt friend.  I too shaved my wife's head and she even ask me to.  Thank the good Lord she's doing pretty good now, but there were times when she hurt, I hurt, and that's not fun.  We can't really know what they are feeling, but we can be there with them and help.
Prayers going up for you and your wife, bless you both!

Dave, I would like to say that I have never had to walk the trail you are walking right now. The only cancer we have had in our family was with my Father-n-Law. It was not a long battle but it was one that left its mark on my wife and I for ever. While he didn't win his battle with this killer he did gain eternal life with our heavenly Father. As I read all the encouragements I am struck by how much people have reached out to you in this darkest hour of your life. I just want to add this as a way of letting you know I too will be lifting you and your whole family up until WE have won this battle. WE are bound in spirit in a common goal to continue to pray and seek the God of this world to step in and kill this thing. Praise God! James 5:14) IS anyone among sick, Let him call for the elders of the church and let them pray over him anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15) And the prayers of faith will save the sick and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has commited sin they will be forgiven. We all that are praying for you will be your church and your elders, PLEASE continue to call on us to pray for you and your wife. If you have been born again in your spirit you have been given a promise that our Hevenly Father will never leave you nor forsake you. Not just as you are hiking this trail but in every trail in your life. Thank you for opening up your life and giving us a peek into it and trusting us to keep you and your family close to our heart. God is doing a great in your life. Praise Him even when you don't feel like it.........Dusty

Dave,
I hope these words of encouragement bolster you and strengthen you both.

At the end of every day, I come to this thread for an update.

I believe a lot of others do, too.

They may not make a post but I know they are praying for you. That is a wonderful thing.

I believe the heartfelt prayers are heard by Our Heavenly Father.  He is with you both.

Thankyou all for your kind words and prayers. She has done well today, very, very tired but doing pretty good. Matt, the grandson that I told you about seems to be adjusting pretty good. That as you know was weighing heavily on me. Can anyone tell me, there is a site that her niece created that I would like to post that people can join but I don't know if that is allowed here. Should I get ahold of a moderater?

David,

Yes, contact the mods... they're good people, but they appreciate the chance to maintain some sensibilities and consistency to this site.

Even with the auction, I think Tarz, Rob or others will respond directly should you email them.

Glad to hear that she's doing ok. And yeah, seems that treatment rips folks. I've heard and rather believe myself, that good nutritional supplements can help the body withstand the onslaught of the treatments.

Email me if you want a recommendation. I did 6 mos of research before I found a source I trusted.

Hey everyone, Bonnie is still doing pretty good except she keeps getting a fever everyday. I pray they figure that out soon and I pray that the white blood cells keep growing, she does have some now. I thank you all for the prayers, they mean so much to both of us. They keep telling us fighting this is kinda like a marathon. I don't remember there being so many hurdles in a marathon.
 Thanks again, Dave

Hey guys, checking in again. Bonnie is doing ok but not great by any means. Her white cells are coming along pretty good but she had a very bad night last night. Woke up in the middle of the night with chest pains and a little trouble breathing. they gave her some nitroglycerin pills and got it under control. but now she has to wear a monitor and can't go for a walk in the hallway without being supervised which stinks cause the nurses are always to busy. Also if you wouldn't mind say a prayer for a friend of mines family. He was electricuted monday night and was found the next day while trying to unplug a dryer on a corn bin. He had survived colon and lung cancer for 4 years but did not survive the electricity. Unfortunatly his mother was in the hospital at the time and when the family told her she also passed within an hour. I'm supposed to go to the funeral's tomorrow but I just dont know if I can make it thru.
Thank again for all your prayers,Dave

I am soooo sorry. The strain must be intense. Tell Bonnie that we are thinking of her and praying for her. I am sending prayers of strength for you during this unbelievable time.

David.

WE're tallest on our Knees! The best heart medicine is to reach out to others in need. This prayer site has taught me that in spades!  GO!  Go to the funerals! Give and ye shall receive manifold!

Bonnie will be fine. the onslaught her body is enduring with the meds is tremendous... Matt can probably be more informative than me on that one!

Focus on Pickles getting the tar kicked outa it but it's kicking back and make it a priority to not let Pickles win!!!  Let's see that shaved head smiling bride of yours...

Keep the Son in your eyes, David!

Yea thought I walk thru the valley of the shadow of death I shall fear no evil for YOU are WITH me, Thy rod and staff shall comfort me. I don't think it matters to the Lord how long the valley is, He will be there to SHADOW and COMFORT you. Also another verse that helps me with my focus and reminds me that the evil one will not win is Isaiah 54:17A  No WEAPON formed against thee shall prosper; Right here I think we could sub a whole host of words in the place of the word weapon as an assurance that We are covered. John 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life: and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. We have to continually remind ourselves of two things here; God made man and God made the devil. Can't either one of them hurt us if we are born again. God's got our back.......... Still praying for ya'll and your friends family as well......Dusty
