Prayers for Whitebuffalo
« on: June 18, 2010, 10:34:00 PM »
One of our fellow members and frequent contributor to tradgang. Jason Bobb or Whitebuffalo, His house caught fire, its a complete loss. All his families belongings are gone, inculding all his bows. The great part is, his family was at a relatives and he was at work. His nephew, the only one at the house at the time received burns to his hands and arms and is recovering at a hospital. But, no life threatening issues. Jason has no needs at this time. He is doing well and a friend has provided a home for them to live in until he gets back on his feet.

Being a professional Firefighter myself, I can attest to this terrible devastation. Even though a large portion of Jasons house is still standing the smoke and heat destroy everything not touched by flames.

If you get a chance, think of Jason today.

Prayer on the way.  Thank God the family is ok!  I know a couple families who have had fires.  It is a very hard time.

Thank you guys. I will let him know how much you all care. A couple of his bows are still intact, but the heat affected them so badly they are useless. He strung one and it quickly delaminated. The other ones, the strings melted off and are gone. That shows some incredible heat they took.

I have a couple bows here for Jason to use too. He should be all set there. Minus one of my sets of Predator limbs that were in Jasons house...

I will pass along your well wishes and prayers guys.

Jason said once the insurance company is done (thank god he had good insurance), he will probably buy another house and not rebuild. You see, here in Michigan there are so many houses for sale right now, he can buy another house cheaper than rebuilding.

Very very sorry to hear that!Thats devastating.

If thier is anything I can do to help Jason out let me know please.A contribution to the family etc.

Thank God no one was seriously injured or killed.

I definatly have bows, arrows, treestands, tree sticks, hunting clothes and whatever he needs to at least have gear to hunt with next Fall and would gladly send everthing he needs or drive up thier to deliver it once he gets settled into a new residence.Let me know please if I could be of service if he needs gear.

All the best to Jason and his family in this trying time.

I'm sorry for his loss but I am grateful that no lives were lost.

If he needs a bow to use until he can find a replacement. I have several so he's welcome to the use of one until that need no longer exists.

Just have him PM or e-mail me.
