« on: September 23, 2010, 08:36:00 PM »
My lovely wife Julie could use some prayers. She was struck by a siezure early this morning and is in ICU. Please pray for her, I do not know whay I would do if God took her away from me.

i will certainly pray for her. it is a scary thing to have a seizure. i've had three, my first wasn't until i was 48, i'm now 53. i'm sure she was scared, i didn't know what happened, if i had a heart attack??? just keep your faith, they have different medications, and i believe they can control her seizures. i had my second and third because i stopped taking my meds. i won't make that mistake again. i pray GODS hand is upon her, and he will help them find the cause. his grace and mercy always.

Thank you all. Praise God!

It looks like it may be a one time deal. She was dehydrated and her potassium and salt got way too low which brought on the siezure. She had been drinking the concocution for bowl prep for a scheduled colonoscopy which caused her to clense her bowls and then she started vomiting, this is what caused her to dehydrate so fast, she was drinking fluids as instructed but could not replace what she lost fast enough. She is fine now and all her electrolites are back to normal. But, they said a blood test showed that she may have damage to the wall of her heart due to the stress of the siezure. She will be scheduled for a stress test to check things out. Please continue to pray for a good out come of the stress test.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Prayers for a negative heart stress test that shows diddly...confound the medicos!  :)

Lord brought you two this far...He won't let you down now.

Praises that all is as well as it is for what might have been.

Keep the Son in your eyes.

Prayers from Georgia.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!

praise the lord, as i said a seizure is very scary especially when you don't know the cause. thank our lord they found the cause and could treat it. i had to have the stress test after two of the seizures i had, it's a precautionary  test, most all ways after one seizure there is no damage. my prayers are with you and your wife, also for her colonastomy,( i hate those things so much i can't even spell it right) i sure hope they come up with a new test before i have another one.my wife said yea! now you know how we feel when we have to go for our once a year check-up. i said "STOP", i don't want to talk about it. when it comes to that kind of stuff, us men are pretty much wimps.ha! i pray you two have a blessed day, "this is the day the day that the lord has made, we should be glad in it."
