UPDATE ON DAD
Steve is doing well it’s been almost a week now and I have spent most of that time in the hospital. Steve ended up having both lungs collapse, 2 broke vertebrae in his back and completely shattered his rib cage.
He underwent surgery on Monday where they got the internal bleeding stopped and rebuilt his rib cage with plates on both sides of his body. He hasn’t been awake since last Friday but is slowly healing. We hope to have him off the ventilator soon; he is breathing more on his own everyday. God truly is amazing and we thank you so much for your prayers.

I will continue to pray for your Dad as this definatly hits close to home. I climb power poles for a living everyday and I know how devastating falls can be. Always wear a safety harness, your life may depend on it!!

I shared this story with my son who is 30 this month because he was not wearing a safety belt while he hunted. He wears one now. Make you stop and think when this happens. I have seen several people who fell just like that and death would have been a blessing. Safety first always starts with you and me. Continued prayers for you and Dad........Dusty

Prayed for your dad and trust that he is continuing to make progress in his recovery.  May the peace of God and the PRINCE OF PEACE be especially real to you in this time.
