Prayer help
« on: October 22, 2010, 01:17:00 PM »
I can't wait any longer to ask this of you. I need some serious Prayer. I waited because of my human nature as I was too embarassed to ask but here goes. My financial position in life is in ruins, bills are mounting, then I find out today that my septic system is shot. I do not know where the money will come from. Please Pray for me big time. If Praying is the least you can do for me, then don't do it. Praying is the most you can do for me.

Done, brother!

Always darkest before the dawn.  Through periods of long unemployment, I hit times like you... and somehow, Lord never gave me plenty, but just enough to fix the immediate threat.

Thanks for trusting enough in US and in HIM to come and allow us to carry your burden in prayer with you to Him.

Prayers are on the way from Georgia for the LORD to handle all your problems and give you lasting peace in your day to day life.

Our little buddy PM'd me that now on Sunday, his well went out... that boy is covered up like Job in testing right now.

No job. No septic and now no well.

I know many pray quietly and don't post, but this brother is up against it at this moment and is walking in faith and can be lifted up often and strongly.

Lord in your mercy!

Doc said it's always darkest before the dawn. Right now I'd settle for "daylight in the swamp". Thanks guys for being there.

we have all been there before, i know us saying it does'nt help much, but our testimony of how GOD always brought us through and how his hand was on us. we understand it's hard, and your so right, prayer is the most important thing we can do. continue to have faith, this storm will pass, in GODS time, he truly is always on time everytime. hang in there brother, we love you and stand with you. i pray today GOD will begin to move and doors will open and he will lead you in the decisions ahead. i pray you will find peace knowing he is in charge, surrendering everything to him is hard. GOD BLESS YOU BROTHER.

Prayers sent from Texas. I've been there. I know you might not want to hear this but, it will get better. Often times when things are the bleakest good things happen. Trust in the Lord.(nut)

I shared privately what has been on my heart for some time: That we've gotten so spoiled as a nation. I look back at 62 and remember my grandparents' behaviors tales of the depression who lived on zip..made do... saved everything and got by nicely.

I've had to give up more and more and more myself...only thing I truly hate not having as I age is decent healthcare coverage. Eveything is going wrong and I can't afford to go get things "fixed"...and it scares me.

Having said that... were I more like Paul, I could rejoice in what trials I've faced...but I don't.  :(  More the shame and I stand convicted that I do not suffer well or joyously trusting always in the Lord.

So yeah, Brian, and those who've been there, with us, the darkest hour is just before dawn...

I read Bruce Wilkinson's book, "Dream Giver" and he addresses this topic nicely for those who like to read short Christian novels.

Continued prayers, li'l bro, for strength, wisdom and insights!
