Ed's surgery went very good today. Everyone was very impressed with the results. Now its just the painstaking 8 week wait for x-rays then hopefully they will remove the pins. Thank you all very much for your thoughts and Prayers,
Jenn

Update: I'll be getting the pins out on Friday. Will be seeing a Hand specialist on the following Tuesday. I am having some issues with my fingers wanting to cross while bending. The Surgeon I will be seeing is the best in my area. I will update again after seeing the Surgeon next Tuesday. Thanks for all the thoughts and Prayers, Big Ed

I seen the Surgeon last week and have reconstructed surgery scheduled for Thursday the 7th. The bones that were previously pinned are not healed. So I need to have a Bone graph and have them repinned or possible screws. The new surgeon also discovered a couple more bones that need to be addressed. There are also bones in my hand that need to be rebroke and plated.
Seems the last surgeon shouldn't have been involved, the last four months were for nothing.  I am glad this Surgeon seems to know what needs to be done. He works with all the Philadelphia Athletes (Flyers,Phillies,Etc..).
Please keep my family in your Prayers and thoughts. Big Ed

Glad for progress regardless of the unfortunate waste of time.

Soemthing of a bummer in your report their Ed, but the good news is that while there is some setback in time, the prognosis looks more promising all the time with the new lookby a better surgeon with great experience!

Seems that we often have to go that extra mile today for the 2nd opinion to get desired results in the medical community. Shame, but I'm encouraged to see you got better team this time!
