Arizona Shooting
« on: January 08, 2011, 05:08:00 PM »
This is not a bowhunting topic, but please pray for the Arizona representative and family who was shot along with 5 other by-standers, including a 9 year old girl, by a crazed gunman. Our prayers go out to them.

Prayers, too, for the idiots (now they think there were 2 gunmen?) who would take such desperate and heinous steps to appease their own agenda.  :(

Amen for the individuals and their families. Amen Doc they are the hardest to pray for but they need to be delivered from the lie they believe.

My first thoughts were disbelief and sorrow. Then I remembered you were from Tuscon Charles. Glad you are OK. I'm so sorry for what happened. My prayers go out to family and friends of everyone who has been affected by this horrible act...

And for our country.

I live directly across the street from one of the Congresswoman's staffers, Ron Barber, who was wounded by this deranged person.

The Judge John Roll who was killed was a good friend of one of the guys I served with in VietNam. My RVN friend is a retired Chief Judge on the AZ Court of Appeals.

The Tucson PD has a black and white stationed across the street for the duration.

A rough weekend.

Too close to home for me.
