Prayers needed

Hi everyone,
I ask everyone to please pray for the people and families of my county. Yesterday, a gunman ambushed some Deputies and killed two of them, and seriously wounded 2 more.

One Deputy that was killed went to Church with my dad. One Deputy that is in ICU on a respirator is a cousin and also a member of the Church my Dad attends. He was shot twice, and one shot pierced his lower spine paralyzing him. They had to remove a kidney, and part of his colon.

Please pray for the families of these 4 Deputies:
Niel Justus- deceased
Billy Stiltner- deceased
Eric Rasnake- Bristol TN. ICU with 3 gunshot wounds
Shane Charles- Kingsport TN. ICU with 2 gunshot wounds

Also, I know it's sometimes hard to do this. But the suspect was later killed. But he had a family too, and they are at loss also.

What a world we live in. You are right when you say that the gunman has a family that needs prayer too. Lord please comfort all parties involved. We don't understand why but we know you are in control. In your name we ask these things.......Dusty

Not sure why, but reading your post, Bobby, I broek into tears.

Signs of tough times where desperation brings out the worst in us as a people. Perhaps another sign, too, of how our "political correctness and excessive tolerance" has undermined morality and righteousness?  

Prayers for the officers. I don't know how men and women can dedicate themselves to law enforcement today with one hand tied behind their backs putting them at greater risk for fear of violating someone's "rights".  :(

Prayers for the officer's families. They live in dread of that call, but those I've known learn to never believe it will be their loved one.

Prayers for the perp's family and friends. May others in your rural community be wise enough to separate the heinous deed from those who are related and provide Christian love and support when these people feel most isolated from their community and shrouded in shame.

May God's peace rise up believers all around your county to come forth and pour out His love to all involved for many months to come in ways that truely attest to His presence in Us.
