Doc's procedure on Thursday
« on: April 20, 2011, 09:10:00 AM »
Found out Docs having a procedure done on Thursday and like the rest of us could use some prayer.
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

:)  :)

Thanks, Galen! Not much of a procedure, but it sure sounds awful... they're gonna drive a movie camera up the urethra! Made Galen cringe on the eve of his own surgery. Now THAT is a friend indeed!  :)

Tired of getting up all night and the pills aren't working so they think they know something different than what they thought they knew all these years!

Cameras don't lie! Might try a post-it note on the end of things saying "exit only" and see what they do!?

Prayers that Galen's own surgery went well today and they were able to excise most of the pesky tumor!

Haven't heard anything and I'm sure his wife is bedside with him.

Lord in your Mercy...

Prayers on the way Brother Dave.

Dave
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!

All done!  :)  Not half as painful as the cathreter after surgery!      "[dntthnk]"

Outcome wasn't what I hoped, but hey... nothing bad, just not the easy fix the doc thought... se le vie!  :)

Thanks for the prayers!  :)

Was just a "thing"... No biggie. Stuff us boys go thru as we age.

Scope checked out that its BPH and not the narrowed bladder that the surgeon thought...

I passed on the suggestion to go into the prostate and rotorooter the swollen material out. Leave sleeping dogs lie!

Back rehab is coming along so I'm good. Let's focus the prayers on our more needy brethren.

But thanks for your continued support and interest!
