Les,
Not a real doc, just play one on the internet, but have fought back issues all my life.
OK... compression fractures in the spine. there is a process Kypoplasty, where they go in with two tubes, inject air to push up the compressed vertabrae and then pump in some quick setting foam thru the other tube and you walk out that day!
Our local Lancaster Neuroscience does it and Dr. Chris Kager is their specialist in it.
They also do "disc" replacement processes.
There is much hope. I just had a lamenectomy because arthritis was compressing my spinal chord and caused the ancillary nerves that come off the main "root" to be compressed. They rotor rootered out my L3, and then did bilateral nerve channel clean out on L4, L5 and S1.
not without some post-surgical challenges, but I can tell you I wish I'd had it done years ago while younger!
God gave the Doctors' their talent and the processes to help. Not saying it'd work for you, but VA's vary so see what you can learn. Might be worth it.
In the meantime, as Chip (Hooked) li'l gal said about Garrett's condition, "God is the bestest doctor of all!"
May it be His will to lead you to the right path of healing.
Keep the Son in your eyes!
