Brother Mudd needs our prayers
« on: July 06, 2011, 10:33:00 AM »
I think Magnus posted to this issue but I wanted to make sure it was covered.  Yesterday I got a call from Mudd (Roy Williams) that he was in pain and waiting for a ride to the hospital.  I talked with him for a while and the pain was too much for him to bear and talk at the same time.

Later in the afternoon I got a call from him and he was in the ER under good care and heavily medicated.  He was diagnosed with possible Kidney stones although nothing conclusive in x-ray or ct scan.

I had a chance to pray with him during the waiting...He said he was a firm believer in the power of prayer and I am sure he will appreciate yours!!

Thank you all for your prayers.

I am home again now and most of the pain is gone.

I can't remember having anything this painful and I talking as a man who had his whole upper body scalded with boiling radiator water with antifreeze.

Pain management failed miserable from about 10 am until 9 pm.

I lived for the morphine they were putting into me and once every 15 minutes I could dump extra morphine into the system.

I can tell you that I didn't miss out on many chances to hit the pump for the extra drugs.

I appreciate all of you!!

God bless,Mudd

Horrid stuff from all accounts I've read and heard...and then goes away... makes ya think yer nuts.

Well, Mudd, we know you are a bit of THAT, but still pray for it to pass if it's a stone and that you figure out what dietary changes can help avoid future ones!

Prayers for healing and avoidance of recurrances.

Prayers sent from GA.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!
