Prayers for my son needed
« on: August 17, 2011, 01:55:00 AM »
Out of nowhere my 19 month old son had a seizure today. The docs put him through every test imaginable and still don't know for sure what caused it and they let us leave the ER with the words of "if it happens again then start to worry"! I humbly ask that you lift him up with your prayers.

God bless all of you,

Wade

Dang. That is scary, Wade.

Prayers for no further occurances and for you and the Mrs to rest in faith and trust His protective hand.

Thanks everyone! All the test results are back and they have all been inconclusive. The little guy has spiked a very high fever and has had it much of the day, which in this case may actually be a good thing. He is going to see his doctor tomorrow morning for a follow up, so we'll know more then. Again thanks to everyone!

God Bless,

Wade

He is getting back to himself today and with the development of a nasty rash the doctors now know what he has. It's a common childhood virus and he should be 100% before too long, but man was it ever scary. Thanks again to everyone for lifting him up.

Whew...been holding my breath waiting and wondering and knowing what torture you must feel!

I can breathe now!  :)   Such good news! Tykes are like Timex watches---take a beating and keep on ticking. Their small bodies seem to rebound so much better than we do as we get older!

Thank you for sharing back that it appears a normal childhood issue adn that you son will soon be outa the woods!

Prayers continue for full recovery and that he'll be soon pestering you mercilessly to make up for his down time!  :)

Thank you, Jesus!

I have been lifting ya'll up in prayer. Just wanted to share something with you; We had the same thing happen to my little girl when she was 9 months old. Her brother had to do CPR on her even though he was only 10 years old. At the time I was teaching CPR and First Aid and would take him with me so he knew how to do CPR. He gave her 3 breaths and got her back going on her own. Her sizure was caused by a high fever after it was all said and done. She is now 20 years old and my son is 31. I was away from home working but was glad for all the times he had went with me to teach a class. Kids are never too young to teach rescue skills to as well as first aid. You never know when it maybe your life they are saving. Thank you Lord for this healing in this family and thank you for this praise as well. Amen.......Dusty
