Whats the deal?
« on: December 20, 2007, 09:40:00 PM »
I have been looking for a used Shrew all fall. I did end up finding one yesterday. But today 3 or 4 more popped up. Just my luck a day late and a dollar short. I guess everyones deer season is ending and the tradin and sellin is just begining. Whats everyone looking for this off season in terms of new/used bows this year?

I'm open to suggestions. I just sold both of my recurves and bought a nice Turkey Creek Longbow. I'd like to have a back up bow.....awww heck a guy needs more than one bow!

Robertson longbow, 50-55lb @ 26", 62".  Woods aren't really important, but juniper and bamboo limbs would be nice.

I'm lookin' for a bow with a grip design that does not hurt my elbow. I'm thinking a high wrist might help.  I'm planning on a Bob Lee takedown or something similar with a high wrist grip.  If the high wrist grip doesn't work for my elbow,  I'll have to switch over to the dark side and start shooting with wheels.

I'd really like to find an Appalachian recurve, and maybe another Appy longbow to go along with it.
